Gothtober 2017: Fifteenth Year COMPLETED!!!

FIFTEEN YEARS of Gothtober have graced the cauldron of Halloween goodies! Here are the 2017 Artists who took part this year. There were recipes, animations, tiny films, and crafts, a wonderful collection of treasures fit for every pair of eyeballs! We had a wonderful time working with each different artist, we had some first timers and some old pros, it’s always a very special mix. It’s like reaching into one of those bags of mellocremes: sometimes you get a moon, other days a spider, you might get a bat or a purple witch hat, or a pumpkin!

Go visit and experience all of the wonderful pieces in the 2017 Gothtober Countdown Calendar!

Robot Fortunes for Yuri’s Night 2015

Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of humanity’s past, present, and future in space.

In our never-ending quest to bring together the arts and sciences, SparkleBlob built a robot that uses the psychic forces of divination to tell your fortune. Don’t worry, we know how much that makes scientists roll their eyes, but that’s why we’re here, to further connect and shoot toward the stars with even the wackiest of ideas.

We hope to take this robot on the road so that it may help many people in nudging them toward cosmic excellence. Taking the S-BLOB 5000 on it’s first mission underneath the very colossal and glorious Space Shuttle Endeavor is not too shabby, lemme tell you!

With the help of a state-of-the-art team of expert technicians (Lori Meeker, Heather Harkins, Coral Lobera, Nancy Jean Tucker, Jed McGowan) we were able to help over 200 people with their paranormal predilections. We also saw Darth Vader, the Dalek from Dr. Who, quite a few extra terrestrial lifeforms, and many groovy scientific types, including: Astronaut, Mae Carol Jemison!

We were so excited to be a part of Yuri’s Night that we’re already in the planning stage for the 2016 party! Want to know more? Check it out here!
